Scope of the Policy:
The Head of the Centre is responsible for ensuring that all staff and learners are informed about this policy, as well as current equality legislation and regulatory requirements related to equality and diversity.
  • Providing training courses that are accessible to a diverse range of learners.
  • Adhering to conditions regarding course development, delivery, assessment, and certification to ensure that content is free from bias and does not discriminate against or disadvantage any group of learners.
  • Clearly outlining the nature and purpose of any necessary barriers or specific features included in a unit or qualification.

Learners, employees, and other center representatives have a right to pursue a complaint concerning discrimination or victimization via the center's Appeals and Complaints policy.

Communications:
Britsafe™ Qualifications UK Limited will ensure that all staff and users within the center are informed about this policy. Britsafe™ acknowledges that External Quality Assurers (EQAs) or representatives may verify that staff have not only received the policy but that relevant staff and learners are aware of its contents and purpose.
This policy and its associated arrangements are designed to comply with statutory requirements, specifically the Equality Act 2010. Additionally, full consideration will be given to any guidance or Codes of Practice issued by the Equality and Human Rights Commission, Government Departments, and other statutory bodies.
