HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY

Introduction:
At Britsafe™ Qualifications UK Limited, we prioritize the health, safety, and well-being of our staff, learners, and visitors. Objectives:
  • Promoting High Standards of Health and Safety: We are dedicated to upholding rigorous health and safety standards throughout our organization to protect everyone who interacts with our facilities.
  • Ensuring Safe and Secure Working Conditions: We continually assess and improve working conditions to ensure they are safe, well-maintained, and suitable for all tasks performed at our center.
  • Providing Essential Information, Training, and Supervision: To support a safe workplace, we provide ongoing training, clear instructions, and supervision to staff and learners.

Responsibilities:
  • Directors: The Directors hold ultimate responsibility for implementing, monitoring, and reviewing our health and safety policy.
  • Health and Safety Officer: Responsible for enforcing safety standards, conducting training, and addressing safety issues.
  • All Staff and Learners: Responsible for following safety procedures, reporting hazards, and ensuring their own safety.

Risk Assessments:
We regularly conduct risk assessments to identify hazards, evaluate risks, and implement control measures. These assessments are documented and reviewed periodically.

Accident Reporting:
All accidents must be reported immediately to the Health and Safety Officer. Incidents are recorded and investigated to prevent future occurrences.

First Aid:
Britsafe™ has designated first aiders, and first aid supplies are strategically located for quick access. Staff are informed of procedures and resources.

Emergency Procedures:
Emergency exits are clearly marked, evacuation plans are accessible, and regular drills ensure preparedness. Staff and learners must follow emergency procedures.

Use of Equipment and Hazardous Substances:
Equipment must be used according to safety guidelines, and hazardous substances must be handled by trained personnel following COSHH regulations.

Good Housekeeping:
Work areas must remain clean, organized, and free from obstructions. Proper storage is essential to prevent accidents.

COVID-19 and Other Health Risks:
Britsafe™ follows government guidelines to manage health risks, implementing enhanced cleaning protocols and adapting to emerging health concerns.
