This course will offer participants a detailed understanding in various segments, which are not limited to:

1. Understand the basic principles of electricity and the specific hazards associated with substation environments, including high voltage and electrical equipment.
2. Identify and assess potential risks and hazards present in substations, implementing appropriate control measures to mitigate these risks.
3. Learn the safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements necessary for working safely in and around substations.
4. Develop skills for conducting safe work practices during maintenance, operation, and emergency situations involving electrical equipment.

Training sessions will be conducted through Microsoft Team Meetings in an online format, or through LMS or face-to-face delivery. Invitations for the meeting will be distributed one day before the commencement of the training program. Training is either delivered by an accredited training provider or an affiliate training center.
