How the process works
Step 1 — Application and fee
Complete the application form below and pay the one-time application fee of £650. This fee covers the assessment of your application and the validation process, including a validation visit conducted virtually or in person.
Step 2 — ATP Application Form and Document Portal
On successful payment, the full ATP Application Form opens and your Onboarding Document Portal is unlocked. From the portal you can download the ATP Agreement, ATP Manual, policy templates and all reference documents.
Step 3 — Review and validation
Submit your completed form and signed documents. Our team reviews the submission, carries out the validation visit, and confirms the outcome in writing.
Certification fees for individual qualifications are charged separately. The full ATP Fees Schedule is provided in your Onboarding Document Portal, or can be requested from accreditation@britsafequal.com.
How long it takes
Most applications are processed within 7 working days of payment, subject to the timely submission of your completed documents and the scheduling of your validation visit.
Annual renewal
Approval is renewed annually. The renewal fee is £350 — and is waived entirely for providers whose annual business with Britsafe reaches £2,000 or more, which most active providers achieve comfortably.
